  1. Any guest who has not Checked out by 10.00 hrs without consent, Shearwater Explorers Village reserves the right to remove the luggage to reception and will not be held liable for any damage or loss to property.
  2. Please note that you will be billed for any additional guests remaining in rooms after midnight.
  3.  We do have bar and restaurant facilities available. A corkage fee of $5.00 will be charged for any liquor brought & consumed onto the premises.
  4. Please smoke only in the designated areas. No smoking allowed in the rooms. A penalty fee of $50.00 will be charged.

Terms & Conditions of Stay

  1. Shearwater Explorers Village is not responsible for personal injuries, loss or damage to your property or possesions, whether such damage is by fire, theft or by negligence or wrongful act of anyone in employment of, or acting on behalf of the host lodge.
  2. Accommodation is provided on cash basis therefore the account must be settled in full on arrival unless otherwise arranged and documented. Should the latter apply, management signature on your account acknowledges acceptance thereof.
  3. All extras to be settled in full at point of sale unless otherwise arranged and documented.
  4. In the event of the account not being settled, you will personally hold myself responssible for all costs relating to my accommodation and extras at the residence. you agree to pay legal fees incurred as a result of failure to pay my account
  5. Any cancellations or changes to a booking made within 7days of proposed stay will be subject to 100% as per the facility terms and conditions.

At Shearwater Victoria Falls we understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. However, to ensure that all participants have the best experience, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellations Made 24 Hours Prior to the Activity:

    • If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity. Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

  2. Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Prior to the Activity:

    • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity time will be subject to a 50% refund. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so we offer the option to reschedule your activity, subject to availability and a rescheduling fee of 5% of the activity.

  3. No-Shows:

    • Failure to attend the activity without prior notice will result in the full charge of the activity with no option for a refund or rescheduling.

  4. Exceptions:

    • In certain cases, such as emergencies or extreme weather conditions, exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of our management team. Please contact us as soon as possible if such circumstances arise.

  5. Group Bookings:

    • For group bookings, cancellations must be made  48 hours prior to the scheduled activity. Cancellations made within this time frame will be subject to the terms outlined above.
